Research active consulting engineer with 10 years’ experience in the areas renewable energy, climate change and power infrastructure. Keefa is currently consulting for the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Development on a World Bank financed programme – Energy for Rural Transformation (ERT) that targets to reduce indoor air pollutants, GHG emissions and increase rural electricity access in Uganda through on- and off-grid infrastructure and connections in households and rural schools, health centers and water schemes. Keefa has also participated in a number of climate change mitigation and adaptation consultancies within East Africa. Keefa is interested in indoor and ambient air pollution both and has conducted assessments at industries and workplaces in Uganda under Green Heat International.
