Prof. Graham Devereux

Graham is Professor of Respiratory Medicine at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine, and an honorary consultant in respiratory medicine at Aintree University Hospital, Liverpool. After training in clinical medicine in Cambridge and Oxford he trained in respiratory medicine in Newcastle, Nottingham and Aberdeen. He has an MD in asthma epidemiology and a PhD in cord blood immunology. His main research interest is the identification of early life/antenatal influences on the lifecourse of airways disease with a focus on maternal nutrition and exposure to air pollution. He has also conducted several large multicentre clinical trials in people with COPD.
